From the famed Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Branaire (sometimes referred to as Ch. Branaire-Ducru) is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.
Typically Cabernet Sauvignon dominant with approximately 25% Merlot and tiny portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; Matured for 18-24 months in oak barrels.
Due to loss of labels, we are unable to assert for certain all of these bottles to be 1978 vintage, however all bottles were consigned together and we are informed are all of the same vintage.
