From the famed Bordeaux appellation of Margaux, Chateau Rauzan-Segla is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently refered to as one of the leading "Super Seconds" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.
Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured for approximately 18 months in French Oak barrels.
These 2 bottles - from the legendary 1959 vintage - are together interesting in that they depict different styles of main and neck labels.
