Chateau Haut Brion 1985 Graves
Chateau Haut Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only four 1st Growths in the official Bordeaux wine classification of 1855. This ranking is commonly referred to as the "1855 Classification of Medoc" - although Haut Brion is located in Graves (not the Medoc), such was and is its quality that the Chateau merits inclusion.
From the appellation of Graves in southern Bordeaux, the wine is a full Bordeaux-blend composed largely of both Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; Matured in oak barrels for approximately 18 to 22 months.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
