Mouton Baronne Philippe 1988 Pauillac 5eme-Cru 150cl

From the appellation of Pauillac, Chateau d'Armailhac is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.  Historically named, among other names, Ch. Mouton Baronne Philippe, the chateau was purchased by the Rothschild (Mouton) family in 1934.

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 14-16 months.

Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Please note that there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
