Carpineto "Dogajolo" Sangiovese-Cabernet Sauvignon 1999 Tuscany
Dogajolo is one of Italy's contemporary cult-ish wines. A "Super-Tuscan" by nature of being made from grape varieties not native to Tuscany, yet self-declared as a Baby-Super-Tuscan for it's immediate appeal and affordability.
The wine is a Sangiovese dominant blend (up to 70%) with Cabernet Sauvignon and other grape varieties contributing the balance; rested for a few months in oak barrels prior to bottling.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
