Château Cheval Blanc 1964 St-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Cheval Blanc is undisputedly the top wine estate in the Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Emilion and - classified as one of only four Premier Grand Cru Classé "A" - is rightly considered an equal among the likes of Mouton- and Lafite-Rothschild in regards both quality and iconic stature.

Cheval Blanc regard 1964 as being one of their classic vintages and was the last year in which all of their wine was fermented in oak vats; matured for approximately 18 months in new French oak barrels.
