F.Kupelwieser 1970 Lago Di Caldaro
An old wine from the town of Bolzano (aka Bozen) in the northern reaches of the Alto Adige (aka South Tyrol) region - an area which has passed between German and Italian control and influence for centuries.
Produced from the largely-unknown grapes of Schiava Grossa and Schiava Gentile (both aka Trollinger in Germany).
The Italian DOC of Lago Di Caldaro was created in 1970, making this wine of the appellation's very first formal vintage.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
