Domaine Zind Humbrecht "Clos Jebsal" Pinot Gris Vendange Tardive 2005 Alsace 5x37.5cl
The history of Alsace, flitting between French and German ownership for centuries, imparts itself within the region's wines - a cacophony of grapes native to both countries, ennobled and respected individually, and produced in a common aromatic style.
Pinot Gris is one of the 4 "Noble Grapes" of Alsace. Vendanges Tardives, or late harvest, means that the grapes were picked at full ripeness with a high natural sugar content, resulting in a wine with a slightly sweet character. This wine is from the single vineyard of Clos Jebsal.
Please note that there shall be a shipping charge for 3 bottles applied to this lot.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
