Single vineyard Meritage (Californian Bordeaux-style blend) of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, from the Monte Bello vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA; Matured for 16 months in new oak barrels.
Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation. Indeed, this 1.5L "Magnum" is expected to mature well - if cellared correctly - for up to 50 years!
We can assure that this bottle has come from a wine-specific temperature-controlled storage environment.
