Chateau Haut-Brion 1929 Graves 1er-Cru

From the appellation of Graves, Chateau Haut Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - and the only estate in this classification not actually located in the Medoc!

The wines of Chateau Haut Brion feature varying compositions of approximately 40-50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35-45% Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; matured in oak barrels (80% new) for 18-22 months.

Bordeaux' 1929 vintage is one of the greatest of the 20th Century with the top wines among the most sought-after by serious collectors and consumers alike.
