Chateau Palmer 1983 Margaux

Chateau Palmer, from the appellation of Margaux, was ranked as a 3rd-Growth (3eme-Cru) Grand Cru estate in the famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

From the very good 1983 vintage, the wine is composed of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot; Matured in French Oak barrels for 20-22 months.
