Château La Mission Haut Brion 1945 Graves Grand-Cru
Château La Mission Haut Brion is widely regarded as being on par with - and in rare vintages, above - the five prestigious 1st-Growth estates as ranked in the famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc; itself ranked within the Classification of Graves 1959.
The estate is planted with 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc - a ratio to which the wine generally follows with slight vintage variations, tending also to be matured in oak barrels for 18-22 months.
This bottle is from the exceptional 1945 vintage and bears label for importers F.S. Matta Ltd of London.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
