Pedro Domecq "Imperial" 1894 Oloroso Sherry
An incredibly rare sherry selected from the mature stocks of the Domecq family's reserves and originally offered as part of a limited production presentation set available exclusively to family friends.
Oloroso sherry, aged "oxidatively" - without protective layer of yeast - typically matured using fractional-blending in a long-established solera system.
"Imperial" Oloroso Viejisimo is an incredibly mature sherry having been laid down in oak barrels in 1894.
This bottle appears to be in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure appears secure, no leakage.
The contents of this bottle appear to be of good colour and clarity.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
