Chateau Leoville Barton is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.
Typically a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (80-85%), Merlot (~15%) and Cabernet Franc (0-5%), matured in oak barrels for a period of 16-18 months.
"La Reserve De Leoville Barton" is the second-wine of Chateau Leoville Barton, made with higher proportions of both Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and matured in previously used oak barrels for same period of 16-18 months.
