From the famed Bordeaux appellation of Margaux, Chateau Rauzan-Segla is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently refered to as one of the leading "Super Seconds" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.
This 2004 vintage is composed of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc; matured for approximately 18 months in French Oak barrels.
