Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 1974 Pauillac
From the Pauillac appellation and ranked as one of the original four 1st Growths (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - prior to sister-estate Mouton-Rothschild's promotion in 1973 - Chateau Lafite-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.
The wines of Lafite-Rothschild feature varying compositions of 80-95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5-20% Merlot, 0-5% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; matured in new oak barrels for between 18 to 20 months.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
