Chateau Valandraud 2014 St-Emilion 1er-Grand Cru 6x75cl
Chateau Valandraud is a relative newcomer in terms of the great estates of Bordeaux. Established in 1989 with only 0.6 hectares of land, Valandraud was absent from the 1996 Classification of Saint Emilion, yet was promoted directly to rank of Premier Grand Cru Classe "B" in 2012.
The wine is an unusually full Bordeaux-blend of Merlot (~65%), Cabernet Franc (~25%), Cabernet Sauvignon (~5%), Malbec (~4%) and Petit Verdot (~1%); Matured exclusively in new French Oak barrels for between 15 and 30 months.
These six bottles - from the exceptional 2014 vintage - are complete with their original wooden case, unopened prior to this listing.
Please note that there shall be a shipping charge for 6 bottles applied to this lot.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
