Chateau Leoville Las Cases 1986 Saint-Julien 2eme-Cru 2x75cl
From the St-Julien appellation, Chateau Leoville Las Cases is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.
The compositions of their blend vary with each vintage, yet are true to Bordeaux' classic left-bank formula of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, Merlot moderance, some Cabernet Franc and a tiny dash of Petit Verdot; matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.
These bottles are from the great 1986 vintage.
Please note there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
These bottles appear to be in excellent condition: labels & foil/wax seals intact; cork/closures appear secure, no leakage.
The contents of these bottles appear to be mature in colour and of good clarity.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
